Minnesota is the largest city in Minnesota.  Minneapolis is the largest city in Minnesota.  It grew around St. Anthony Falls, the only waterfall on the Mississippi River.  The St Anthony Falls is located in northeast of downtown Minneapolis.  This falls was an important and sacred site to the Mdewakanton Dakota Tribe.   I attended a conference that was hosted in the Minneapolis Convention Center.   This convention is the largest convention center in the upper midwest.  I traveled through the city by the “light rail”, a service that connects the downtown, airport and the Mall of America.

I took the Minneapolis Riverwalk Food Tour.  This tour included 12 different food tastings, and a visit to the Mill City Museum.  We viewed the St. Anthony Falls, and crossed the MissIssippi River.   The food tastings included freshly made pasta, European styled bakery goods, Thai dishes, whole made gelato and more.  The cheese bread was amazing!  I shopped in the Mill City Farmers Market, a flea market and much more.  I visited the Mall of America, located 15 minutes outside of Minneapolis.  This mall had everything and I do mean everything, including:  more than 529 stores, 50 restaurants, and the nation’s largest indoor Theme Park with rides and plenty of attractions.  This is the largest US retail and entertainment complex. I toured the SeaLife Minnesota Aquarium at the Mall of American.  This aquarium has more than 10,000 sea creatures.  It has an octopus garden, the world’s largest crab species and so much more.

i had a fantastic dinner at the Capiral Grille.  This restaurant was located in the heart of the Heppin Avenue Theatre District in Minneapolis.  I ordered lobster and crab cakes .  My meal was excellent and served in a relaxing atmosphere with soft music playing in the background.  My meal was excellent!

This is a nice place to visit in the summer.
