I traveled around the world for both business and pleasure during my 37 years of federal government service.  After retiring in 2014,  I decided to attend a Wine and Paint class in Gambrills, Md with my daughter Linnea, my niece Lindsey  and a friend of my daughter’s.  The fee of the class included canvas, paints and brushes.  We were provided step by step instructions.    I enjoy drinking wine, and I throughly enjoyed the experience of drinking wine while learning to paint.  It was a fun, relaxing and enjoyable experience!  I have never been described as artistic by those who know me.  The class is designed to bring out creativity for non-artistic folks as myself.  We amazed ourselves just as much as we amazed our family and friends alike, with our newfound ability to paint.  We left the class with our first paintings underway.  The next day I  shopped for painting supplies; easel, canvas, and a variety of different paint colors and types of brushes.  I created several painting drinking wine throughout many nights. It was a liberating and exciting experience.  The Pisces that I am enjoy activities that I can get lost in, in solitude.  This exciting period of my life was short lived.  I offered to create a painting for my daughter Linnea’ s Faith and Grace Hair Studio.  It took forever to finish that one painting. My creativity apparently left just as quickly as it came.  Although short lived, I enjoyed the experience immensely,
