Barbados is the sovereign island country in the Lesser Antilles in the American. It is situated in the western area of the North Atlantic no east of the Windward Islands of the Caribbean Sea. It is east of St. Vincent and Grenadines, and northeast of Trinidad and Tobago. It is southwest of Miami. It is outside of the principle Atlanta hurricane belt. The capital is Bridgetown. It is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean; it is 21 miles long and 14 miles wide. This island has pure drinking water and was the first Caribbean island to have piped water. This island is constantly cooled by northeast winds.
We watched as fishermen brought hundreds of fresh fish from their boats, and sold the fish on the street to the restaurant buyers.
We had jerked pork and chicken with salad, peas and rice” and drank beer in an opened air market. We toured the Gallery of Caribbean Art.
We snorkeled over a Carlisle Bay Shipreck. This was great! We had excellent banana daiquiris and grilled seafood on Brownes Beach. This beach is in the Carlisle Bay and has tropical fish, frog fish and sea horses.
The Barbados Fertility Center is the only full time unit in the Caribbean region. This facility has success rates higher than US and U.K., and the cost of treatment thirty three percent less.
