Caribbean

The Lesser Antilles are a group of islands in the Caribbean Sea.  These Islands are between the Greater Antilles to the northwest and South America.  These Islands form the eastern boundary of the Caribbean Sea with the Atlantic Ocean.

The Lesser Antilles are made up of the Leeward Islands, Windward Islands and the Leeward Antilles.

The Leeward Islands:  Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, Antiguilla, St Maarten/St Martin, St. Kitts and Nevis, Barbuda, Dominica,  and Antigua.

The Windward Islands:  Dominica, Martinique, St Lucia,  St Vincent and the Grenadines; and Grenada.

The Leeward Antilles:  Aruba, Curacao, and Bonaire.

The Greater Antilles:  Cuba, Hispaniola (Haiti and Dominican Republic) Puerto Rico, Jamaica and Cayman Islands.

The Lucayan Archipelago:  Bahamas, and Turks and Caico Islands.

Together, the Lesser Antilles and the Greater Antilles compose the Antilles, or better known as the Caribbean.

When combined with the Lucayan Archipelago, you have the West Indies.
