I took the Ferry from San Diego to Catalina Island.   This is a beautiful rocky island with beautiful beaches, and located off the coast of the US State of California in the The Gilf of Santa Catina.  It is just a few miles from the shore in Southern California.  I had dinner at Armsting Seafood Restaurants, which served an excellent grilled shrimp salad!

i took a Coronado ferry from downtown San Diego to Coronado Island, to attend a free weekend concert on the Coronado Ferry Landing.  I shopped in the French Room Boutique.  I had a wonderful brunch at Candelas in the Bay while enjoying the break taking views of San Diego skyline.  This was a “Mexican City” style cruisine including all of the Mexican favorites; and also traditional breakfast and dinner selections. The food was excellent!

We visited the Litte Italy, a hip and historic urban neighborhood in downtown San Diego filled with patio cafes, restaurants, pubs, art galleries, shops, hotels and Amica (dog) Park.

We visited the Seaport Village, a one of  kind mix between an outdoor mall ; and an art and wine festival.  There is great entertainment, attractions, shopping and dining; all enjoyed overlook the view of the San Diego Harbor.

We visited four different casinos in San Diego.  The casinos were large, clean and quiet.   I spent my time at of the locations, meeting and talking with visitors and travels alike.  I was amazed that the locals I spoke with had never witnessed a cash payoff in the casinos.

San Diego is a beautiful place, with the most amazing weather; and a exciting world of coastal discoveries!
