It is in the Gulf of Santa Catalina. This Island is 22 miles southwest of Los Angelos, California. This island has a sub tropical climate with warm temperatures year-round.
We took the Jeep Eco tour through the wild lands of Catalina Islands. We saw Catalina Island Fox and American bison. The American bison has been renamed, US landmark mammal. We saw owls, eagles and other large birds.
We had a very nice dinner at Armstrong Seafood Restaurants. And Fis Market, on the waterfront. We had delicious grilled shrimp salads and great margaritas.
This island has clear blue sunny skies and cool ocean breezes. It was great fun exploring the outback of Catalina Island!
